How to configure the boxes with the cluster repository objects

For each end-user or end-customer, Kappa Data will create a new Cluster. You do not have the rights to create or delete cluster. In case a cluster has to be renamed, added or deleted, please contact Kappa Data Support: support@kappadata.eu

ccFLEX Preconfigured settings and services

In ccFLEX we introduce new features like monitoring, eventing and a new way of authentication. There are some configuration changes that have/had to happen to the default firewall configuration.

In every cluster we added a “Cluster Repository”. The cluster repository contains the correct settings for the ccFLEX offering.

You can import these settings directly from the cluster repository to the box.

Important! If you have other external authentication services configured (like MSAD), you need to COPY the LDAP settings from Kappa Data in the configuration. Otherwise you will overwrite the settings.

Configuration of the monitoring service (SNMP)

Right click on Infrastructure Services —> SNMP —> Copy from cluster repository. Remember to lock the service (Right-click, lock) otherwise the “Copy From Cluster Repository” will not be available.
